Relevant data on energy use in brick making has not been collected, so, there are difficulties in establishing a methodology regarding brick manufacturing. The proper brick making technology helps in reducing energy consumption, resulting in a minimization of cost. Therefore, information on brick firing is gathered to calculate energy use of the particular kiln to find the optimum efficiency. The energy used in this system is further compared to other brick manufacturing technologies worldwide.
