DFID Nepal Annual Report 2005

The development partnership between Nepal and UK goes back more than half a century. In 1951, Britain helped Nepal's government newspaper set up a modern printing press, and a year later provided equipment for Radio Nepal.  Today the sole aim of the programme is to help poor and excluded people improve their quality of life through activities that assist them directly and through projects that improve the context in which development takes place. This annual report is the frist since DFID established its office in Nepal in 1999.
