The economic value of biodiversity

The presentation examines the case of not meeting the 2010 biodiversity target.  The "Potsdam Initiative – Biological Diversity 2010" showed the economic significance of the global loss of biological diversity.  The global loss of biodiversity is projected with examples from Brazil, temperate and tropical forests and the marine ecosystem.  The presenter concludes with a look at the value of the losses of ecosystem impact.
