Fact Sheet - Forests as Pillars of Social and Economic Resilience
Description
This fact sheet provides key messages of the World Series Vol. 45 - Forests as pillars of social and economic resilience.
The report examines how forests contribute to social and economic resilience in the face of disturbance and change, and how societies can, in turn, support and steward resilient forest systems. It was developed by a high-level interdisciplinary and international team of 31 researchers (22 authors and 9 reviewers) as part of the Global Forest Expert Panels (GFEP) initiative led by IUFRO in collaboration with the Collaborative Partnership on Forests (CPF).
