Description

The GEDSI analysis examines how gender, disability, and social inequalities affect vulnerable groups in both everyday situations and during disasters. It highlights that in Madhesh and Lumbini, vulnerability is not only driven by environmental risks but also by deep-rooted social inequalities. The study emphasizes that effective resilience-building must address these structural barriers by ensuring inclusive disaster preparedness, fair access to resources, and gender-sensitive, culturally appropriate interventions so that no one is excluded.
