Evaluation of enhancing poverty policy monitoring and evaluation capacity for women?s union and farmers? association in Tra Vinh Province, Vietnam
Creators
Description
Between 2003 and 2006, Tra Vinh Provincial Women's Union and the Farmers' Association implemented a project supported by Oxfam Great Britain. The aim of the project was to use participatory monitoring and evaluation of poverty policies in order to discover the expectations of poor men and women, and to help them improve their livelihoods. These findings were communicated to People's Committees, People's Councils and Government departments. The aims of the final evaluation were to: assess the suitability, feasibility and sustainability of the project; evaluate progress and outcomes based on the logframe; assess the impacts of the project on forming and amending local policies, especially those related to improving poor households; and document lessons learned in order to suggest future improvements.
