Nature-based Solutions Innovation Challenge and Business Incubation Program

Entrepreneurship plays a vital role in fostering sustainable economic development and resilience, particularly in the Hindu Kush Himalayan (HKH) region, where nature-based solutions (NbS) can offer pathways to both environmental and economic sustainability. In 2025, ICIMOD, with Industrial Enterprise Development Institute (IEDI), Briddhi and KGS Inc. launched the Nature-Based Solutions Innovation Challenge to support a new generation of entrepreneurs who are building solutions rooted in nature and powered by innovation.
