Patalko dhara, a critical spring located in Kuikel Thumka Village, Kavrepalanchok, was drying due to rainfall variability, variations in intensity and duration, the 2015 earthquake, and abandonment of traditional ponds. To address this emerging issue, the six-step protocol for spring revival and springshed management was applied.
