End of inception orientation and consultation workshop Integrated Climate Adaptation Solutions for the Hindu Kush Himalaya Region (HI-CAS), 12–16 January 2026, Kathmandu, Nepal

The End of Inception Orientation and Consultation Workshop for the HI-CAS project was held at ICIMOD from 12-16 January 2026, bringing together project partners and government stakeholders from Bangladesh, Bhutan, and Nepal. The workshop strengthened a shared understanding of project objectives, governance, compliance requirements, monitoring and reporting processes, and technical interventions, including springshed management, renewable energy, and agrobiodiversity. It also emphasized safety, risk management, and rights-based, gender-responsive approaches to ensure effective and inclusive implementation of climate adaptation solutions across the Hindu Kush Himalaya region.
