Uniting for water security: HKH Springs Alliance and the future of springshed governance

The International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development (ICIMOD), in collaboration with the International Water Management Institute (IWMI), convened a meeting of the HKH Springs Alliance to foster collaboration, align efforts, and co-develop a strategic implementation plan, uniting stakeholders to ensure long-term water security and socio-ecological resilience across the region. The event was supported by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) through the project entitled Strengthening Climate Change in the Himalayas (SCA-Himalayas), and the United Kingdom International Development through its Climate Action for a Resilient Asia (CARA) initiative.
