Creators
Description
Passive solar architecture aims at taking advantage of solar radiation during the cold season to heat the inner space. The house collects during the day the solar radiation that keep the rooms warm both during the day and night. Passive solar renovation contributes to reduce the firewood consumption by 75%, to avoid smoke inside the house and to improve comfort in winter in southern rooms. The materials required for the renovation are locally produced except wire and plastic. The overall cost of the renovation is less than 250$.
