Gender equality in context: Challenges and opportunities

This booklet sets the scene for addressing gender inequality in programming by looking first at the main achievements so far and at discrimination remaining. The booklet then summarises five lessons learnt in gender programming, lists key challenges to be addressed, and presents current aid modalities as opportunities for future gender programming. On the last pages of this booklet a number of supplementary gender equality resources are listed for easy reference.
