Notes on the Alpine Convention

Description
The Alpine Convention is a prime example of transboundary collaboration as discussed thus far during the conference. It is the first international convention to cover such a large land mass area, dealing with diverse issues covering both natural and human elements of conservation and development. The author offers a brief introduction into the topic, giving a bit of the history behind this historic achievement, as well as some detail as to the components of the Convention and its accompanying Protocols.
