Description
The University of California expedition to the Tibetan districts of Kutang and Nubri at the headwaters of the Buri Gandaki River in northern Nepal during October and November 1973 originated from a more general scheme that had as its chief aim the microfilming of Tibetan Buddhist texts by several teams deputed to Nepal by the Group in Buddhist Studies of the University of California during the autumn of 1973.
