As a part of the HKH Cryosphere Monitoring Project, ICIMOD held an international conference and workshop on the cryosphere of the Hindu Kush Himalayas. The two events made significant contributions to strengthening the exchange of knowledge, enhancing regional cooperation for cryosphere monitoring, promoting regional efforts to better understand the cryosphere, and formulating the initial framework for the HKH Cryosphere Knowledge Hub for regional cryosphere data and information.
