Sierra Nevada Alliance member group capacity assessment report

Creators

Description

The results of this survey will help guide the Alliance in meeting certain member group needs and will serve as a measuring point to gauge relative progress over time. For example, the Sierra Nevada Alliance will use the results to identify priorities for the Community Group Support Program and to secure financial and other resources for individual programmes and efforts. The results may also be used to shape regional cooperative proposals and plans to expand capacity throughout the region. For the individual member groups, the survey results can show how members compare to similar groups in the region and can generate ideas for how members can expand their capacity internally and with assistance from the Alliance. Finally, this survey will serve as a reference point for the Alliance to gauge its own and members' relative progress, both in conservation and organisational achievements, over time.
