The foundation of successful irrigation projects lies in a comprehensive and robust Detailed Feasibility Study (DFS) that covers multiple dimensions, including technical, social, environmental, and economic aspects of projects. The DFS aims to generate information for making informed decisions, enabling robust design and implementation, and thereby producing sustainable outcomes. This ultimately contributes to the AEPC’s mission of fostering resilient and renewable energy-powered irrigation systems. This framework is intended to serve as a guide for conducting in-depth feasibility studies on renewable energy irrigation systems in Nepal, with the overarching goal of ensuring consistency and reliability in the assessment process.
