ICIMOD's Living Mountain Lab (LML) is a scientific and technological hub dedicated to prototyping, testing, and demonstrating over 90 sustainable, innovative, and replicable technologies. Located in Godavari, 17 km south of Kathmandu, Nepal, LML focuses on areas such as agriculture, aquaculture, biodiversity conservation, disaster risk reduction, forestry, livestock, soil and water management, and renewable energy. These solutions aim to address the challenges faced by mountain communities, benefiting both people and nature. The lab invites visitors to explore sustainable technologies in an environment that reflects the diverse biodiversity of mountain regions.
