Climate change is posing challenges to global food production, especially in the tropical fruit sector like pineapple farming, due to rising temperatures, extreme weather, and other associated factors. To address these challenges, the Responsible Fruits Project has created a technical guide for pineapple producers and exporters. This guide offers current climate change information, identifies risks to pineapple production and trade, suggests adaptation practices, shares successful case studies, and highlights areas needing further research and solutions.
