The regional workshop on ‘Tracking Options for Sustainable Management of Yarshagumba and Trade for the Kailash Sacred Landscape Conservation and Development Initiative (KSLCDI)’ was held in Paro, Bhutan from 9 to 12 August 2015. The workshop aimed to establish a platform for exchanging knowledge, experience and lessons learned by individual countries on sustainable Yarshagumba management; forge regional networks of institutions and experts; and promote regional cooperation for collective efforts in sustainable management of highly valued natural resources for livelihood co-benefits in the landscape.
