Air pollution is a significant health problem in Nepal's Kathmandu Valley, where rapid urbanization has resulted in a significant deterioration in the region's air quality. In response to this growing crisis, and to help drive the enforcement of pollution related legislation, a SANDEE study has estimated the value of the health benefits that would result if air pollution were brought down to a safe level.
