  • Summary
Annotation :::: More than 4,700 mountain migrants living in Qiaozhong community, Youzhu new district, Lisui city, Zhejiang province, are those who chose the resettlement mode of self-reliance for employment, and do not have any distributed productive land. There are many people going abroad in Youzhuxia village and Xiaokou village, and some of them provide some abandoned land to migrants freely for cultivation. Some migrants even rent cultivated land from local villagers, with total area of land exceeding 100 mu (6.667 hectares). After conveying their own land to migrants, local villagers try to help migrants with their cultivation. Having grain and vegetable harvest, migrants usually share with local villagers, thus making 100 mu (6.667 hectares) into “harmonious land” where migrants live on friendly terms with local villagers.
