Annotation :::: The most difficult work of poverty alleviation is lifting people who are living in areas with limited production and marginal living conditions out of poverty. In Hebei province, poor people living in such areas were identified as the focal point for implementation of the poverty-alleviation-oriented relocation project in an effort to thoroughly reduce poverty. By 2007, the financial sector of Hebei provincial government had arranged over 60 million CNY to relocate nearly 20,000 people from the mountain area and help them build new houses and set up business of their own.
