During 2006, InfoAndina led a meeting of the Andean Initiative (AI) of the Mountain Partnership (MP) held in Lima. This meeting was attended by representatives from the Initiative’s member countries, as well as from the Main Groups. The meeting was jointly called by InfoAndina and the Peruvian Foreign Affairs Department, with the financial support of the Mountain Partnership Secretariat (MPS). The goals of the meeting were: to agree on the concrete products that each country will contribute to the Regional meeting of the AI, as well as the general process that each country should follow in preparation for the AI meeting; to outline a general framework for organizing the work agenda; and to set the preliminary date for the AI meeting, as well as all of the logistic details related to that meeting.
