The 13th Conference of Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change and the 3rd Meeting of Parties to the Kyoto Protocol took place in Bali, Indonesia from 3-14 December 2007. The meetings were some of the most important to date, as negotiators discussed the successor to the Kyoto Protocol, whose first commitment period expires in 2012.
